Mission Alarm Pro is billed through the App Store. The Monthly and Annual plans renew until you cancel; to view, change, or cancel one, open App Store subscription settings on your iPhone — Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

Lifetime is a single purchase that never renews, so there is nothing to manage. On a new iPhone, open the Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchase to bring any plan back.

Missions

Which missions are there?

Six: Rotate, Math, Scan Code, Steps, Light Up Room and Photo Target. Rotate is free; the other five come with Pro. Open an alarm to pick its mission and tune it — the turns, the problems, the steps, or how bright the room has to get.

Can I try a mission before the alarm rings?

Yes. Open the mission from an alarm and tap “Try it while you’re awake”. The preview runs the mission without ringing.

What if I can’t finish my mission?

Tap “Can’t finish this?” on the mission screen. Solve Math Instead swaps the mission for a few harder math problems, and the morning still counts. “Slide to stop without finishing” ends the alarm right away, but the morning is logged as missed and your streak resets.

Why did my mission switch to Math?

When a mission can’t run — camera or motion access is off, the sensor isn’t available, or your target photo is missing — Math takes its place that morning, so the alarm can still be stopped. Turn access back on in iOS Settings, or retake your target photo, and your mission returns the next morning.

Scan Code won’t read my code, or Photo Target won’t match

Scan Code accepts only the code you set up for that alarm. Center it in the frame, and switch on the torch in the dark. For Photo Target, photograph a spot with some detail in the light you’ll have in the morning, then line up the same view. You can retake the photo in the mission settings.

Alarms and sound

Will the alarm ring in Silent mode or Focus?

Yes. Mission Alarm runs on AlarmKit, Apple’s system for alarms, so it rings in Silent mode and during Focus. You don’t need to leave the app open.

Why didn’t my alarm ring?

Alarms ring only while Mission Alarm has alarm access and Live Activities are turned on. If either is off, the Today screen says so, and its banner takes you to the setting. Also check that your iPhone was switched on and charged. If everything looked right and the alarm still didn’t ring, write to us from Contact Us in the app’s Settings.

How do I change the volume?

The alarm’s volume is controlled by iOS, not by the app. Sound previews in the app play at your media volume, so the real alarm can sound louder or quieter than the preview. To hear it for real, set an alarm a minute or two ahead.

What happens if I don’t finish the mission?

The alarm rings again about 2, 4 and 7 minutes later. Finishing the mission cancels the rest. These backup rings are free and can’t be snoozed.

How does snooze work?

Snooze comes with Pro and is off by default. Turn it on for an alarm and choose 1 to 15 minutes. Snoozing only delays the mission: the alarm still stops only once it’s done.

Which sounds are included?

System Default and First Light are free. Pro adds eight more, from gentle to insistent.

What does Pro include?

Every mission, every sound and more than one alarm, plus snooze, the local sunrise, your calendar in the Morning Briefing, the Journey calendar and chart, and widgets. Rotate, one alarm, backup rings and the bedtime reminder stay free.

How does the free trial work?

The Annual plan can start with a free trial for new subscribers. The app shows how long it lasts and when the first payment is due before you start. To avoid being charged, cancel in App Store subscription settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

What happens when Pro ends?

Your alarms keep ringing, with Rotate and the default sound. The missions and sounds you chose are kept and come back if you subscribe again. While Pro is off, you can’t add another alarm.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue them ourselves.

Your data

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no sign-up and nothing to sync: your alarms, photos and mornings are stored on your iPhone. The app does send some usage, crash and purchase data, tied to a random ID rather than to you. The Privacy Policy lists all of it.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your iPhone. To have the data held by our service providers deleted, write to us from Contact Us in the app’s Settings before you delete the app. The Privacy Policy explains why.
